Fees and Rebates

                    

At WCK, our goal is to keep costs low to ensure that every child has access to high-quality nature immersion programs.

Our Service caters for children aged 2.6 yrs to 5 years. We are open from 8am to 4:00pm,

Monday to Friday, 50 weeks of the year (closed over the Christmas/ new year holidays)

and closed on Queensland public holidays. Notice will be given on the OWNA app and in

our newsletters when these days occur. Fees are charged for each session of care and

vary depending on the number of days in care.

Our daily fee is $108.00 before Child Care Subsidy (CCS) has been applied, and is

inclusive of Bush/ Farm Kindy. These fees are based on a 8 hour session.

You may be eligible for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) which will reduce the amount you

actually need to pay (your out-of-pocket costs).

FREE KINDY: all kindergarten-aged children will be entitled to 15 hours of free

kindergarten each week 40 weeks per year in an approved kindergarten program. we

offer a kindergarten program from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Your

child must attend for three days a week to receive the free kindergarten funding,

 

As a long day care service offering a kindy program, we charge for a 8-hour session each

day, unlike sessional Kindergartens. Five of these hours will be covered by the free Kindy

hours (up to 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, so you will only be invoiced for the

additional 3 hours each day during school terms. If you qualify for the Child Care Subsidy

(CCS), you will receive an invoice for the gap fee only, payable via Direct Debit each

Monday.
