We employ registered qualified teachers who run kindergarten in line with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines curriculum (QKLG). We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality educational and school readiness programs.

Our aim is for our children to have a confident and smooth transition into their preparatory year.

We offer FREE KINDY - 15 hours a week, 40 weeks of the year.

 

We maintain a strong connection with our local schools and develop our school readiness program in consultation with the schoolteachers.

We assist children in building independence and confidence throughout their Kindergarten year, and work closely with children to assist them in their development of their social and emotional intelligences.

To ensure the transition to school is a positive experience for children and families, we implement a range of experiences that may include, but is not limited to:

• Visits by children to local primary school setting- Woombye State Primary School setting

• Family information sessions

• Visits from Primary school teachers and/or Principals to our Service - Woombye and Chevallum State School

• Exchanging information about a child’s individual strengths and needs 

• Networking with educators, primary school teachers and Principals.
