Connected to each other. Connected to Woombye.

WCK is a small, welcoming community where children, families and teachers know one another and relationships grow across the whole service.

Located on the main street in the heart of Woombye, we are part of the everyday life of our town. Through Walking Woombye, children regularly visit the local library, businesses and familiar community places, building genuine relationships with the people who live and work around them.

Our connection with Woombye has been built over many years through volunteering, holding roles within the WCBA and helping to keep valued local traditions and projects alive—including the Woombye Lantern Parade, the community Nativity Play and the community garden.

Families are also valued partners in our community. Their knowledge, experiences, skills and perspectives enrich our program and contribute to the life of WCK.

Children are not simply learning about community—they experience themselves as active citizens and valued participants within WCK and the wider Woombye community. They learn that community is something we belong to, contribute to and help care for together.
