At the Woombye Early Development Centre we have University qualified early childhood teachers as well as staff with qualifications and/or experience in Children’s Services. All staff hold a current first aid certificate and blue card. We have an extensive Staff Development Program that encourages and assists all staff in continuing studies to further their qualifications and expand their knowledge and understanding of current research in early childhood.

We strive for excellence in all aspects of the service we provide. In addition to our excellent staff we have specialists who visit the centre regularly including: Nicola Canty, the Centre Manager who provides advice, direction and support on daily management and centre specific programs. She is a qualified early childhood teacher and has worked as a government validator; Brenda Abbey, our Child Care Consultant who assists in ensuring that our high standards are maintained; Inclusion Support Workers, and CISTA, who support the inclusion of children with additional needs.
